Quick Start
1. Download ZIP and read the included README file
2. Edit configuration files. Run program with -check then -test
3. Run program in foreground mode (for example gpualert in Windows and ./gpualert in Linux. No -start option) and watch at least one complete monitoring cycle; press Ctrl+C after the output looks correct
4. For long-run background monitoring, run program -start followed by program -status; use program -stop when needed
5. Run program in trial mode and make sure it works as expected
6. Run program with -probe > probe.txt
7. Purchase a license and send probe.txt to service@smartbooth.com 8. Receive license.dat
9. Start production monitoring
Trial Mode Limits: GPUAlert allows 1 new alert or test per notification channel per day. CPUAlert, PingAlert, and PortAlert allow Email, Microsoft Teams, and Telegram notifications up to 2 per day.
